Thank God?

Chrysler, LL announced that it will eliminate four models through 2008, including Dodge Magnum, the convertible version (only) of Chrysler PT Cruiser, Chrysler Pacifica and Chrysler Crossfire. In the same time frame, Chrysler will add two all-new products to its portfolio: the Dodge Journey and Dodge Challenger, along with two new hybrid models, the Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango.

Thank God! America needs less cool cars and more SUVs? (In case you missed it, that statement was facetious)
Of course you know that this makes an immediate new collector car area. If you have a one of the above cars, hang on to it, the price will probably go up. Nothing creates a collector car faster than a car that isn't available anymore. Remember the Convertible Craze back in the late '70's when car manufacturers stopped making convertibles? So if you are a car collector and you get a chance to own one of the above vehicles, don't pass it up!
